Most of the time our subconscious intuitions are the result of our previous conscious experiences that over time became subconscious. For example – driving a car for an experienced driver involves a lot of intuitive subconscious decisions and actions. When we start driving, every step takes an effort, energy and attention. But over time, step by step we press pedals and steer, shift gears and look in the mirrors without giving it a single thought. As long as the situation is routine, we do not need to use our conscious attention, and immediate threats we usually address intuitively and quickly… The same goes to other more complex intuitions. What is bad about intuitions? They are the product of our past random experiences. And they may not always be the correct ones…
